Is it possible to have too much money?

I have like $300/month left over from my disability, that I don't have to work for right now.
But I will be returning to work in a couple of more months.

I always thought I had too much money, because I had excess of what I needed to survive.

    Is this common thinking?

Why don't you donate it or part of it? There is probably an organization that helps wolves for example. There are local organizations that feed the homeless. There is an organization called Best Friends that helps all animals including wild. Smile

If I give to my limit I'll end up being negative in my account, because I'm not always good with my money.
I tend to save what I can. But I did have a $0 balance about a week ago.

I do like Defenders of Wildlife. It gives me a chance to polarize positively.

I can spare like $50 to them.

And I get a free water bottle for helping them. That's cool.

Is it better to be tired than to have energy?

I'm not tired. But I'm not working now.
When I work, I get tired. But it's still not really bad.

I don't know what being tired has to do with having money.

Then let me ask you and see if you understand my point.

Is it better to have no money than to have money?

I think every dollar should be attached to something, as it is an energy exchange. But one should be able to save too. I get afraid that my savings aren't doing work.

The work they are doing is building your foundation of potential to work from. Think of savings as future work, but time is all simultaneous so basically when you save you are actually just giving to your future self to use for work.

don't you have a lot of credit card debt?

I personally still have some debts from college, which, thankfully, I am not obligated to repay until my income reaches a certain level.

However, having re-examined the situation, my own view is that the responsible thing is to repay the fiscal debts I knowingly incurred at the time.  So over this coming year, I plan on making voluntary repayments on that debt.  The shift in intent has been profound.  Instead of disowning a past action, I am now taking responsibility for it.

I think this shift started late last year when I finally got around to consolidating my superannuation (retirement) accounts.  It was an area of my life that I had just left to chance and neglect till then.

I make $54k a year when I work. My long term disability only pays 60%. My expenses leave me like $300 a month roughly. But after the long-term disability I don't know. At least my home is paid for by insurance.

I feel worthy because I gave $50 to Defenders of Wildlife. Especially protecting wolves.

I dropped to $0 in my bank account recently, and now barely have enough to cover my doctor visit. But I still feel blessed. Every extra dollar makes me feel abundant.
