    Basically they found out that nitric oxide production gets reduced as people age, and this causes less oxygen to go to muscles since this substance is a transmitter of oxygen.

    They found out that humming at 130 hz from your nose increases the production of that substance 15 times. Just 1 hour a day even. Something like this:

    This aligns so well with another positive result of humming that I learned just the other day. The vagus nerve is so important for us to switch to parasympathetic mode and is also stimulated with humming.

    "Your vagus nerve is connected to your vocal cords, the muscles at the back of your throat and passes through your inner ear.
    Try humming or singing or just listening to calm, soothing music. Those sounds and vibrations may stimulate your vagus nerve."
