Hello everyone! I recently sat and wondered if I am really STO, and if I really know what love is. Anyway, here are my conclusions: Love is basically the acceptance of the other;an attempt to understand the other(compassion);placing oneself in the other's shoes and acknowledging that there is a balance to be kept, and that is one of Love.

Also a metaphor appeared in my mind, I don't know if I can make you understand it but here goes.

Your living essence is like a fisherman near an ocean of ideas, the ideas being fish. You've decided that the only fish you want is Golden Love Fish. And so you chose a place to sit down patienly and fish. Many, many different fish will nibble. But you can still inspect the fish before you put it in your bucket. You can release those fish that are not Golden Love Fish.

Life is like one long fishing trip, and if you choose the right pond, the right bait and release the bad fish, in the end, you will sit there with a bucket of Golden Love Fish. And you'll know that you chose love.

Wow, this metaphor is so hard to explain, it made sense to me anyway.

Love and Light to all :p

I don't think there are bad fish. Just small fish and maybe creepy ones, BigSmile
