i'd ask a question. has any of you been to GLP? Today i've been banned from the site. just for posting a thread similar to http://www.bring4th.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=5836.

dont understand it.

posters create articles about doomdays etc. but when you post good things you get banned

just wanted to share way i feel.

I've been banned from GLP for the past week--not for anything I posted but just because the owners use banning as a way to extort money from people who want to visit the site.

No, they ban based on IP address. It doesn't matter whether you are a member or not. However, you can bypass these bans if you are a *paying* member. This is why I call it extortion.

They have banned my IP about 3 times throughout the year, that happens to all "free" users at one time or another. Usually users get unbanned after around 3-4 weeks, so you could just wait it out, or rather just find a better alternative news forum (which is my suggestion). You can always use ATS or Avalon, or even find really good forums on the Hidden Wiki (Deep Web) if you know how to use it.

IMO......it is an attempt to get you to pay. I am currently banned and it was for nothing.

I actually checked out that website and LOLed. It's just not physically possible for me to take a place like that seriously. The thought of paying money to view it is entertaining.

I've been auto banned multiple times on GLP. It's a fishing technique to get you to pay if you want to say what you want. Multiple words are red listed for auto ban like "bitcoins" for example.
