Yes. But I fight with the idea of thinking that loving yourself is selfish. What are your thoughts about this?
To save the love for myself is quite selfish, but if I do not love myself how can I spread love to others? Quite a dilemma.

a selfish person pays their own mortgage before offering to pay the mortgage of their next door neighbor, whereas a selfless person pays the mortgage of their next door neighbor before paying their own mortgage.

    guess which one i am.

You are the one you wish to be, my friend, and I respect both choices.

i'd prefer that my next door neighbor omit paying their mortgage altogether, and then give me a double payment so that i can pay mine up twice as early toward principal, lolol.

What i've noticed is about the last 5 to 8 years people have had real problems with their short term memory. Mine took a huge hit 5 years ago during a move. I mean it was noticeable big time. I've since asked most of the people I know or work with and they all have the same problem with a different self diagnosed cause. Through all ages of 18 up to 80 or so that i've asked. They came up with reasons like arthritis causes it, pregnancy, marijuana, age, its something different for everyone but the one common thing is they've noticed that it started around the same period.

Something else i've noticed was the surge of movies that came out having to do with memory problems, wiping memories, replacing memories, etc.

My wife has been in slow motion for some time now and she is pregnant as of a month ago and now she seriously moves at turtle speed. Reading this post made me think of what she's been like lately. Time just passes her up while I rush to get things done. I thought it had something to do with her vegan diet.

I'm vegetarian (mostly vegan) and I do everything fast, fast, fast. I need to slow down more! Most vegans I know are very energetic. But, since she's pregnant, she might want to include a B-complex supplement, since both folic acid and B-12 are very important during pregnancy, and B-12 is not found in vegan foods. A B-12 deficiency could definitely affect energy. Or, she might just be staying calm which could be a positive thing for the baby! I was definitely too stressed when I was pregnant and that wasn't good.

    Good Greetings All:

I was very very slow when I was in the last part of my second trimester through until the day before I birthed my children. It is a natural body response to the immense intelligence it takes to create a life in the womb as well for the body to take care of itself so that it is in good reasonable condition after birthing the baby.

Being tired and sleeping a lot and being in a sort of baby on board induced altered state is a natural part of pregnancy for many many women. It was for me.. A sense of dreaming life into beingness.

If the woman that is pregnant is eating correctly and getting enough nutriments then there is no need to be concerned.

When I was also pregnant I completely eshewed all forms of animal protiens... even eggs made me barf just smelling them cooking... forget about eating them! The same for cooking chicken, fish, beef, and wild game... BARF! Bleck! I feel queasy just thinking about it...lol and this is 2.5 years later---- I could not get enough Tofu, blueberries, soy milk, almonds, and fruit of all kinds... I just loved them all.. I lived on this tofu, blueberry, apple, pear almond milk and soymilk smoothie with ice. Yum! It was good! I craved blueberries and watermellon, and mellons of all kinds as well as tofu and rice and good organic tamari soy sauce and Maine harvested seaweeds.

And yes, I was slooooow... and I was pregnant with twins and I was healthy and I had healthy babies. I was also very slow with my first pregnancy, a single birth. Especially during the first trimester and latter half of the 2nd through the 3rd trimester.
I remember a friend of mine feeling frustrated with me because I was too slow... He tried to make me feel bad because I was slooow and moving at my own pace in a peaceful state of being full of happiness with my creations. Nothing wrong with this. What was wrong with the picture was the impatience of this friend who I dropped as a friend because they could not handle my body slowness but my quick energy frequency.

Here is a book on pregnancy and birth that my hubby and I found to be very helpful. It is written by a wife and husband. Birthing from Within: An Extra-Ordinary Guide to Childbirth Preparation, Pam England and Rob Herowitz.

At the time the LOO books were channeled, Ra spoke of this demarcation as being precise, but did not provide a specific date... but gave an estimation of approximately 30 years...which would have put us at around 2012 or so. This was because they could not violate the Law of Confusion with precise predictions...and because so much was in flux at the time.

Since then, Q'uo has been more specific, because the date is firmly rooted in the collective consciousness, thanks to the decoding of the Mayan Calendar.

How it manifests in our awareness is another issue entirely, and the subject of much discussion. There are differing opinions as to how we will welcome this shift. Some think we'll all go 'poof' while others think there will be a gradual transition. I don't think it's set yet, but will depend largely on the collective choices.

Please see the 'Sessions in Focus' section of the forum to learn what Q'uo has to say about it.

On Youtube, there is a series of 5 videos named "The Emerging Sunspot." It's worth watching for the barebones facts, but there are several statements that immediately reminded me of Ra's statements concerning vibration and light, increased density of space in our solar system, and phases.

I had no idea that the sun made sounds! Or that those sounds created a sympathetic vibration in earth's electromagnetic field, or that earthquakes occurred thereafter.

Many have faith that 2012 will bring about changes. How that will manifest is the paramount puzzle. Perhaps this information holds a clue.

    Hi!

    I really enjoyed your idea!
    Being rather than doing.

    So being of service
So being more lovely and supportive
So being more flexible and self-expressive
So being more peaceful and in harmony

    Something like this?
Getting the focus to the being is not so easy in our busy seeking lives...

We live most of our lives in a "doing first, then being" state. We think "I need to do this so that I can be that." When we wake up, we realize that doing comes from being. We transition to "being first, then doing", realizing that we can't be defined by either being or doing alone. Like the buttons in an elevator "door open" and "door close", but it's always "door". Get it?

Eventually, being and doing merge. We realize that they are creating eachother in every moment. Smile
