In regards to octave densities I think it just starts all over but maybe totally different. Here's and interesting quote from the Gospel of Thomas

“18 The disciples said to Jesus, “Tell us how our end will be.” Jesus said, “Have you discovered the beginning, then, so that you are seeking the end? For where the beginning is the end will be. Blessings on one who stands at the beginning: that one will know the end and will not taste death.”

The beginning and The end are on either ends of the same stick...happening simultaneously

In the diatonic scale it goes as such: 1st, 2nd, major 3rd, perfect 4th, 5th, 6th, major 7, 1 (octave)
In the chromatic scale we have: 1, minor 2nd, 2nd, minor 3rd, major 3rd, perfect 4th, diminished 5th, diminished (?) 6th, 6th, dominant 7, and major 7, and 1 (octave)

What meaning could the extra notes have?

There's also a perfect fifth. I don't know the difference. It appears to be a chord of 2 notes. There's also a circle of fifths in music. I just barely touched on it before when I was learning guitar. I've since forgotten everything.

Astrologers have not included Ophiuchus in the wheel of Astrological signs because the Sun spends only about nineteen days in this 13th sign of the Mazzaroth. Not that there wasn't a 13th sign in the Heavens, but as far as Astrologers were concerned, the Sun traveled from the constellation 'Scorpius' and then proceeded directly into the sign of Sagittarius. In reality, this was not the case. The Sun, for 19 days of the year, travels through the star constellation 'Ophiuchus' before entering Sagittarius from Scorpius - see chart below. thus The sign of Ophiuchus is patterned after the original 'Serpent Holder', Enki, a Sumerian god.
