in with the fresh and new
out with the old and stale

did you know this my friend?
that you cannot ever fail

encouraged to explore
the limits of curiosity

all you need for this search
is your inner luminosity

love and light is the only fuel
required for one's renewal

what you judge as a misstep
the creator sees as a jewel

so take that baggage of your chest
shine brightly for all's forgiven

perfect is each imperfection
that's the attitude from which i'm livin'

reveal to me the way
in which we're all connected

mirrored doorways opening
love leaves no one neglected

this is no poem...this is a virus
live from the heart to be infected

the world's projected from your iris
what you believe will be reflected

if i boiled it all down
to a sweet and simple answer

i'd say, "it's all a dance"
and that we are each a dancer

if i boiled it all down
to what gives life it's meaning

i would look you in the eye
until i saw your soul gleaming

to a truth that's absolute

i'd say, "there's only one of us"
and then krisna would play his flute

so just the essence remained

all that would be left
is our innocence unstained

everything comes from a triumphant seed
consecutive moments strung bead after bead

thought becomes word and then word becomes deed
observing each thought helps to slow down their speed

don't let them run rampant and start a stampede
ask of their source and their bound to concede

don't make it a battle...that's not how you succeed
just follow your heart for the heart won't mislead

any self-aware entity
has the god-given capacity

to project light continuously
in all directions simultaneously

for we are offspring of the brilliant sun
instead of rays we have smiles that shine

we bring warmth with our heart hugs
radiating love is embedded into our design

many a mystic have come to the same conclusion
that this entire world is a marvelous illusion

similarly a sage will say that you are not your body
after years of meditation they are absorbed in samadhi

a monk might tell you that only extinction brings nirvana
while a yogi shares a mantra from the full lotus asana

a sufi spins around in circles to find what doesn't spin
while christians put faith in jesus to absolve them of sin

a shaman ingests a brew to commune with a plant deva
while a hindu begs for food all in the name of shiva

a scientist views the cosmos as intelligently designed
while an artist paints a vision for the whole of humankind

a saint insists the way to heaven is to selflessly give
while an atheist suggests this life is our only one to live

we were never meant to all agree on a specific religion
for at the basis of perception is the variant of decision

of living in a state of gratefulness

joy unperturbed by these fleeting scenes
is a sure sign of one's wakefulness

give your praises unto the lord
treat each other like a benediction

blessings bestow the one who thanks
sharing love is a fruitful addiction

Balanced beings are not indifferent.
Seeming separation does not prevent
these observers being imbued with Love.
They conclude all things are sent from above.

Love/Light goes where it is sought and needed;
in every moment, it has been seeded.
The melting influence of pure motion
makes us learn our lessons, with devotion.

What we are is constantly created
but we get only what we have fated.
It is through Love, and a strong strength of will,
that beings can, momentarily, heal.

The Logos is the reason we are here -
The Focus which makes Everything appear.
The Energy can heal, build, and transform;
it is the sole reason we now perform.

Seeking Love is a central act of will;
it, alone, can make time seem to stand still.
Within the unity, Love has been found;
it is why my feet are upon this ground.

Love can be seen as the choice of attack...
what one gives out one will, in time, get back.
The greatest protector it has to be...
the contents of Infinite Energy.

Through Love, we have power to direct Light.
Through us, The Creator has perfect sight.
We create the Light and then become it.
The stream is endless which we now transmit.

To the pure it is all which can be seen.
To them there is nothing which is obscene.
Light is the nature of all energy
and it can be nothing other than me.

Seek and share the love of the creator,
as it is known to your inner-most core,
to serve others the best way that you can.
You are the reason Everything began.

Purified Love is the grand solution
so be reckless with your distribution.
Constant use is what enables the flow.
Only through experience, can we grow?

Here is the place we learn to understand
all things can fit in the palm of a hand.
Unconditional Love is the great key
and is what always connects You to Me.

Finely tuned compassion displays it all.
Love can be seen, in all that may befall.
The Greatest Freedom is what we have made
and there is no way this will ever fade.

the womb of all things luminous

the space where universes are born
the potential of an oak inside an acorn

i invoke the comfort of black light
the silence that gives thunder its' might

outlasting all futures...preceding all histories

where the many dissolve into unity
no polarity nor any sign of duality

for one cannot face the faceless

life on earth is like a treasure hunt
precious gems and jewels are buried

the seeking process is the shovel
in our hearts the truth is carried

our culture offers ups and downs
but what i'm after is not temporary

don't build a foundation on shifting sand
the still ground of being is a sanctuary

sometimes love does contribute

always available in some way
that is love's greatest attribute

a wakeful abiding presence
that is attentive to one's needs

love has no preference at all
between the flowers and the weeds

everything gets sanctified
when eyes of love are perceiving

love has nowhere else to go
so don't worry about love leaving

it will comfort an aching heart
it will befriend the loneliest soul

if you want a standard to live by
then let loving be the only goal

and tell me what it is you see

do you see the creator's generosity?
the exploration of infinite possibility

do you see the idea behind creation?
how there is such a bounty of variety

notice the patterns that guide all growth

notice the diversity of all things unique
no duplicates in nature can be found

this means there can be no true comparison
the act of judgment has no standing ground

that is why each snowflake can astound

treat words like a child treats toys
play with them in a lighthearted way

sometimes i feel like that could

The kiss that said “good morning”
the heavy robe and soft duvet that protect my fragile bones
the moment of true, gracious loss when I was free
my breath on the air and dew on young life
sparrows, like Christmas baubles, hang from the ends of branches in clusters
Sol rises through ribboned clouds; pink, orange and yellow

The violent sorrow that forces a tear to my eye
to injure another, but I must
the pain of two offered to shallow water
to be washed away so that I might breathe once again
a bird comes near, watches curiously
aware of my struggle perhaps

The gift of comfort from my own self
to learn of my soul; so beautiful, so far away
what light, what purity, what joy!
for which I can but vainly strive
such desires for gentleness, for truth, for relief
not of this world, but resting elsewhere

Gloaming light streams through supple, translucent leaves
like a jug of pomegranate juice enjoyed alfresco
a rare gift to be enjoyed only for one week each year
the warm bottle that soothes my aching belly
now distant memories of unbearable, raging emotions
eased away by sounds of ancient woodland
peaceful, quiet oblivion comes over me
and I wander home once again…

why look without for that which is inside?

why do some stand still while other people dance?
why does true love get confused with romance?

why make effort when you can go with the flow?
why be in a rush when flowers open so slow?

why give your power away to circumstance?

lay aside your intellect and that which is clever
experience the heart of you...that which is forever

it is crazy to think about existing without end
but that is the message each moment has to send

there really is no rush to reach the final goal
the creation moves in circles like a singing bowl

whatever you desire....take a step towards that
and when desire has run dry...just purr like a cat

the heart relates beyond the distinctions of gender
feelings could only arise from something so tender

we are all subject to it's precious vulnerabilities
it can both give us wings and bring us to our knees

the heart is unbiased and only knows of connection
it is rooted to the truth of each moment's perfection

a message of wellness it pumps up to the brain
clearing the doubtful mind like the pouring rain

When I was having a mental episode in jail and was at the hospital, I asked the cop taking care of me if he was an angel. He didn't know. I've also told someone they were an angel but didn't know it yet, because I felt they were. They were in jail with me too. I hope I didn't give them bad advice. But they seemed grateful that I told them.
