Oh, I'm not the only closet Alan Parsons Project fan left? Haha. Although 'Turn of a Friendly Card' isn't one of my favorites. I'm more an 'Eye In The Sky' guy.

I LOVE the "Sirius" into to the title track. Man, I miss the days of awesome extended intros to songs.

BTW, did you happen to hear his (probably) final studio album, "A Valid Path" from about a decade ago? Its opening track -guest starring David Gilmour- is basically a return to the "Shine On" era Pink Floyd sound.

Also, as an aside, if anyone else here happens to be into retrowave\synthwave\Outrun\etc, Groupees currently has a pretty solid bundle of albums including Timecop1983, Occams Lazer, Meteor, and Dance With The Dead. I'm downloading them at the moment, so I can't comment on quality yet.

However, I'm certainly intrigued by Meteor's included album, which has the description: "This album is a compilation of stories told through songs, each one representing a line, a character with different experiences to others but coexisting in an infinite space, full of human beings with parallel lives."

My feels lately in linear order...

(yeah, happiness!!  Holy crap, 222 views and 2 likes.  Well then, look at that, you look for happiness and you find love looking you in the face and you don't even realize it right away!)

(It's getting hot out here in the desert...  And do you ever just feel like a dinosaur just clomping about and rawring and stuff?  I do.)

(That feel when you realize Time is your greatest ally over even space itself.)

(But reality can still seem pretty spooky because of that regardless...)

(But fear and paranoia are a lesson demanding we have more faith in the good will of creation towards us, that catalyst isn't meant to crush us but strengthen us, that the obstacle is a trial, a lesson, and not a punishment.)

So like, just be happy for the experience because it's all about what we desire, and sometimes those desires can seem very strange from a human perspective, but like a bird high in the sky, the perspective changes once it lands on the ground, and things become much more dangerous and real.  OR as some like to call it, opportunistic Wink

Plus it's all mysterious and unknown one way or another, and I can't know it, may as well explore it, enjoy it, find the fun in it.  Sometimes that can seem odd and weird to others, like a person climbing fencing instead of walking around it, but the experience, the exploration and authoring of those experiences.
It's not all fun and games, but it can be to the right personality.

But there will always be that reminder deep down in the abyss of that rabbit hole we call our personality.  There's dark structures, ruins of experiences forsaken, waiting to also be explored in the same manner, waiting, wandering in your mind and heart.  Somewhere else right with you always.

What's to fear?  The dark dog in the shadow?  The zombie behind the corner?  That person that looks like you killing stuff in the distance?  They need you to see them.

So why not Just Be and Enjoy them?

Like I recall some of you disliking my interactions with you all, I think you saw me as ignorant and that's fine cause I feel the same way!  And you know what, you're totally right, I have no clue what I'm talking about!

So instead of sticking around and raising my blood pressure over discussing some ideas, I'd rather go and fantasize about a beach while sitting in my pool just providing happy loving feelings to the world I'm on.

...You're all free to join me too~

    Because here's the dealio-do-da

You don't know if you're somewhere else out there right this moment on some different part of the world at a different time/space in the same space/time, it's all up in the air.

Who even knows, why freak out and argue about it?  No one is right or wrong, we're all out there, somewhere, in here, everywhere Wink
