I have been working with card 20 of late, and this is known traditionally as the Judgement Card.

one tradional analysis of the themes of this card include:

    Quote:making a judgment
    having a day of reckoning
separating the wheat from the chaff
    making an honest appraisal
    getting off the fence
    using critical faculties
    taking a stand
    making hard choices

    feeling reborn
    awakening to possibilities
    transforming
    enjoying renewed hope
    making a fresh start
seeing everything in a new light
    discovering joy

    hearing a call
    recognizing your true vocation
    feeling inner conviction
    feeling an impulse to act
    deciding to make a difference
feeling drawn in a new direction
    knowing what you must do
    answering a need

    finding absolution
    feeling cleansed and refreshed
    releasing guilts and sorrows
    forgiving yourself and others
    atoning for past mistakes
    unburdening yourself
    feeling sins washed away

ironically enough, Ra refers to this card by a different name:

Quote:80.20 Questioner: Sorry about that. Can you tell me what the twentieth archetype would be?

Ra: I am Ra. That which you call the Sarcophagus in your system may be seen to be the material world, if you will. This material world is transformed by the spirit into that which is infinite and eternal.

my belief is that blockages in this archetype lead to self-judgement and self-criticism, which is then one step removed from feelings/sensations of guilt, shame, and unworthiness.

this faculty of judgment has no need to be applied to oneself, let alone between individuals.

78.28 Ra: I am Ra. We may share with you the observation that judgment is no part of interaction between mind/body/spirit complexes.

self-judgement can manifest as unworthiness, which Ra examined in response to one of Don's queries.

15.12 The next center is the pineal or indigo-ray center. Those blocked in this center may experience a lessening of the influx of intelligent energy due to manifestations which appear as unworthiness.

this blockage in the indigo ray prevents the SELF-HEALING that the bodily complex has as a built-in right.

Quote:12.31 We will use this instrument as example. The portions of its ailment, as you call this distortion complex, that can be perfected in balance are due primarily to a blockage of the indigo-ray or pineal energy center. This center receives the intelligent energy from all sources lawful within the one Creation; that is, lawful in this third-density distortion or illusion. If there is no blockage, these energies pour or stream down into the mind/body/spirit complex perfecting moment by moment the individual’s body complex.

so one can see how damaging self-criticism and self-judgement can be. In the Course in Miracles these are known as "attack thoughts"; here specifically ones directed towards the self. But as there is no separation between self and other-self, self-judgement inevitably leads to the levelling of judgement against others.

my personal approach to this issue is based on understanding the issue at hand; ie, the parameters. Then there was the realisation that the 3d mind is incapable of grasping the full data of my experience (ie, large parts of the unconscious mind are inaccessible to the waking self), so any judgements that I would make would be incomplete or erroneous anyway lol.
