The Transformation of the Mind

The key to this card, indigo11, is the position of the male figure's hands. He holds the hands of both women, as if he wants to follow both, but they point toward different directions. The figure cannot possibly move forward until he releases one of the women. If one represents the emotional side of the mind and the other represents the thinking side, this would suggest that the way forward to is release one in favor of the other. However, we know that balance is central to all forward progress, especially on the STO path, so this interpretation meets with dissonance when the wider picture is taken into account.
