I don't really expect any takers either...

I'd like to see ALL weapons eradicated from the face of the planet! And I'm hoping someday that will happen. But it will be from raised consciousness, not legislation.

In the meantime, the reason I'd rather not get into a deep discussion about gun laws is simply that there are already so many forums out there addressing that topic. It's a complex issue that's really just a symptom of the state of consciousness. The only comment I can really make at this time is that murdering people is already against the law, and criminals don't obey that law, so the likelihood of them obeying a law against guns makes about as much sense as them obeying the law about killing in the first place.
