These two writings were done a few year ago and though they are a little gloomy considering the devastation that I was enduring at the time, they really reflect my hope despite the devastation. This was years prior to this awakening and are quite interesting where my mind was in regards to my eventual path here.
What does it mean if you remain awake only to delay the next days nightmare?
What if you realize that the nightmare is actually reality?
A reality that you cannot escape from?
Do you seek out that light at the end of the tunnel only to realize that the light is just another way to cope with the pain?
If it is just a coping mechanism, the off switch lies in the place where we all seek. The place that one feels safe. The place where one feels at peace and where we all aspire to be. This place, I ask you, is
where?
It must be a place of wondrous sights and sounds. A place where one finds peace in all aspects of life. A place that is devoid of such trivial notions such as arguments, violence, heartbreak, and sadness. A place that encompasses all that is joyful yet surreal.
A place that not only accepts any and all persons no matter the fault but a place that grants such asylum to those who truly wish to be what we deem as happy or content in their life. This place I ask you again is where?
Is this place that I envision what we call heaven? If so, how can we be so certain a place so wonderful even exists? How can we not be lead to believe such a place exists only for it to be a contrived delusion? A delusion to makes one feel as if they have a purpose. A purpose that is greater than our own being. A purpose that is beyond even our most imaginative comprehension.
If this place exists, why can we not create such a place here and now? A plethora of such indescribable and unattainable peace if you will. Why must we save such a coveted existence only in the form of the afterlife when such a life could be created here and now?
If we as a species are to survive the tests of time, we must be willing to free not only our minds but our proverbial souls to which we have enslaved due to our unwillingness to accept all no matter the color of our skin or the God in which we serve. This, I fear will ultimately lead to our downfall if we refuse to rise above such triviality. Triviality that only exists because we make it so.
So instead of asking where this place exists, this time I ask you, why have we not created it?

When pondering such an existence where life seems to stand still, is it really life standing still or is it ones self that has allowed themselves to become inert in such an existence? If life seems to be taking such stair stepping increments that involve a one step forward and two steps back scenerio, one becomes disillusioned to their true path. A path that was at one point clear and concise but a path that has been obscured by certain events in their life. When such a life has become so obscured that they truly don't know whether to walk forwards or backwards, one begins to evaluate the original path and if it actually was as clear and concise as once was previously believed.
If said path truly was on this collision course where it ultimitely had to happen, one begins to ponder why such a path would even exist at all. This is where those that have the luxury of believing that they are ultimitely tied to some grand scheme that is larger than all of us benefit in knowing that it is a test. For one beyond such a belief, such a contrived delusion is outside of ones realm of understanding thus the reason for such internal struggle. Believing that such a thing does not exist, one must admit that not only was this path not predetermined but a path that was simply a matter of circumstances outside of their control thus the reasons as to why such a path has been created hasn't actually been created but is actually being created by every decision that one makes.
So instead of realizing that this purgatory has condemned ones self to a life of internal struggle, one must realize that this path that was once clear and concise only to become as foggy as a morning over looking the Golgen Gate Bridge, will lift and become clear once again. This clearing can only be descibed as not only enlightenment but a new day. A day that involves a life beyond such confinment and struggle that will ultimately bring the light back in to life.
