I just had an awesome dream 
. As I said I've basically been having interesting dreams each night (the other night had one about having a sword that was somehow related to a dragon, used it reluctantly against a burglar, in the middle of the fight a dragon landed outside the dorm I was living in with my mentor on top of the dragon, and got on the dragon and we fly off haha).
But I just had the most incredible dream.
In the dream, I'm in India (I've visited maybe about 24 times because I have a lot of family there and my parents took me every year till I was 18, then a few times afterward). I have an interesting night chatting with my family members one night, including my uncle, enough that I told a cousin my age the next day about a conversation I had. I told him about something my uncle said -it was a novel position on some business/political issue (which is they all discuss). However, as the day continues in the dream, I randomly see a (white) girl who visits India often as well and I think I definitely need to ask her out. Then after that, I think about my uncle more and I realize that my uncle died five years ago, and that therefore this MUST be a dream! I go back to my cousin in the dream and tell him my belief that this is a dream. He is skeptical. I then start levitating to prove it to him. He's like oh s*** what are you going to do. I tell him I'm going to meet my higher self.
I figured I wanted to go high above Earth's atmosphere and I could him my higher self there. I started to levitate more and more. What was interesting is that as I believed in myself's ability to fly, I would take off. If I started to doubt I could go higher, I started to drop like a rock. It felt like my desire let me fly, and if I let my desire waiver with doubt, I would start to sink. I figured this out with a curvey flight of soaring up and then dipping a few feet down with doubt for about first few hundred feet, then I figured it out and just soared high up in the sky.
I went into the clouds, then past the clouds, but instead of space the sky dissolved into purple horizontal wavey energy lines, and then they formed into an purple energy face. I called out for my higher self. The face moved but did not respond. I asked if it was my higher self, then before getting a response I asked for a solution to my bdd/self love issues (which interestingly enough, though I mention it on the forum often enough, I only recently have been asking for guidance on spiritually...I think I had some ego issues accept/asking for help
). The face materialized crystal clear. It seemed to be a male face. The face lacked a full head of hair - it had hair at the sides, and at the middle top of the head. The hair was in a short ponytail on the top portion. I can't recall, but vaguely the hair reminded me of looking like plants/leaves. What was interesting what was was on the face, on the lower right side (when facing, the lower left of the face), near the lower cheek, was a tatoo [-1-|-2-3] I'm fairly sure it was very close to that.
On the neck on the right and left sides, there was some sort of rectangular tatoo that looked like rectangle with lines dividing it into other rectangles in a symmetrical fashion.
The next thing I remember, I'm back down on Earth at a family get together. I keep telling everything this is a dream. My father is there and much like in real life, he tells me to simmer down and talk normal and that no one wants to hear talk like that. Something also happens - there is also some disagreement between family members and they get angry at each other like usual and I try to bring about peace and love. He tells me I should be quiet and to not get involved. I tear up as I tell him and one other member who is there that we always talk politics and how the world is going to hell, but it's the same disagreements among people that causes war among princes (to paraphrase a famous medieval quotation).
I then wake up. Awesome dream! I don't know if it was my higher self, but I'm thrilled that my dreams are lucid enough to become a more active part of my seeking!
