Eh...this is kind of random. It's just that I've noticed I seem to be a lot younger than a lot of the wanderers who relate the most to me.
The other day I was talking to a guy at a psychic fair who couldn't seem to get over my age. "You are very, VERY young." he said, disbelieving. He seemed to think I was definitely "one of them" but was amazed at how young I am. (I am 24.)
It seems like the people I meet who are the most like me...there is just this huge age gap. It makes me feel somewhat out of place. Did I not get the memo and incarnate late or something?
It just drives me crazy wondering what me incarnate here, NOW. I seem to be right in the middle of everything, not quite falling into any of the usual "groups." An anomaly. I guess I should be used to that feeling by now. If anyone could do something totally weird and stick it to the system, it would be me.
I know in the end it doesn't really matter. Of all the zillions of wanderers here, I'm doubting any of us are here for exactly the same reason. I just can't get over the feeling that maybe I'm a straggler...one of those end pieces that don't follow the bell curve. Oh well. Someone has to fill the spot, right? I really shouldn't stress so much.
Any other 20-somethings here feeling the same way?
