I'm only 22, so i also fall into the same generation as you Ahktu. I've always been very social and live in a country where we party very hard and have had so much going on around me all the time that i haven't noticed what i really am. The only thing that has made me feel weird in this world is that no-one seems to feel the same empathy for others that i feel, and no-one in my generation really cares about anything "real" anymore. All they talk about is sports, tv, talking crap about others or bragging about themselves. I have always liked talking about what the meaning of life is and why our countries are run like they are, and people my age look weirdly at me when i mention such things. Luckily, i started meditating and getting the constant chatter out of my head and noticed what my higher self was trying to tell me. Now i know that love is all i want to give to this world!
