Acceptance is one of the most powerful 'actions' one can take.
it brings 'unity' to the two things that were 'separate' before. For eg; an individual (say me) 'accepts' certain aspects of their past, and they are no longer seen as 'separate'. The lack of separation then removes any sense of the 'other' from the equation; and this state is one step closer to a totally unified consciousness (which was always there but we fragment via the perception of the illusion (separate beings and actors)).
as Tenet said, acceptance does not equate to condonement; but it is 'accepting' and acknowledging another of the infinite number of potentials of intelligent infinity. The more we 'accept' the more 'infinity' of which we partake of.
these days, the majority of my 'practice' revolves around the verb acceptance. It has proven (for me) the fastest accelerator to unity consciousness.
