paranormal experiences during meditation?

Here's something weird that happened yesterday: I was meditating and decided to try and invoke the energy of the sun. I tried to visualize the sun as best I could and replicate the sensations that I feel in the body while exposed to sunlight.

The weird thing is that when I opened my eyes afterwards I had an afterimage like I actually had been staring at the sun that stayed around for a few minutes.
