It is a fine line indeed, if there is a line at all, and I just think you would do well to contemplate it, if you are going to use it as a defense for telling others whether they are right or wrong.

I know you dislike vagaries so I will try to be a bit more specific for you.

"Level of competence" implies a hierarchy of ability. I am also reminded of the adage that a wise man is one who knows that he knows nothing.

I am mostly reacting to your post here:

I will frankly say that most people who pursue this work independently will usually end up with a notable amount of delusion. I've strived tooth and nail to make sure I don't end up in a fantasy realm. Faith is not my favorite thing but I've managed to find a balance.

Please use your discretion delving past the veil or at least attempting to.

Most people who attempt it will not be fully successful.

Where you imply that "most people who attempt" to do what you have done will either be delusional or unsuccessful.

tl;dr: I am just calling BS on your claim at being above narcissism.
