Women require a time of stillness during this part of the cycle... this is why in the antiquity there was the red tent... Patriarchy destroyed that... It is a powerful time of stillness, creativity and renewal... when stillness is not granted this is when distress takes form in "bitchyness and anger and rage" all signs that the stillness needed has not been heeded...
