If it were not for that and the well-performed drama and needed cleansing of the channeling area, plus the accurate information regarding magical practice... I just would not be as easily convinced of the genuine-nature of this material.

This material is not only a philosophical masterpiece; It can convince even the most stern of agnostic atheists that there is a world beyond carbon and flesh.
