I get frequent warnings of "those that wish to influence you" during QHHT sessions. At one point I asked to be more specific, and it was described in a way similar to what Ra stated. They offer a service, in which case even though I am surrounded in a way, they cannot step in and cause an effect until I specifically allow it or request it.
This means that my own urges, thoughts, emotions, beliefs, need to create the doorway for them to approach me.
I found it best to learn shielding, then develop awareness of how I think, in order to keep my shielding construct pure.
The other thing is that I get a ton of protection from those that help me as a healer. If I was to focus solely on self empowerment and those things to keep focus on my self I doubt I would have the same kind of aid.
