Having a sitter is the most important part just to make sure you don't go wandering out by yourself. The times I did it, it wasn't nearly the reality bending experience that some have described but it's better to be safe in this regard.

What are you smokin it on? You'll wanna break through the barrier so to speak so when you start to feel the effects, take one more good hit and make sure someone is right next to ya to catch the pipe as you'll most likely drop it lol.
