To me, it's not the story of Nassnanarath but a story of a planet of beings who had to undergo that much suffering and carried the psychological scars of it upon their souls for subsequent eons, wherever they happened to incarnate, and a story of a Father who decided that this was OK.
And yes I recognize the same impulses within myself, perhaps that is why my emotional reaction to this is so strong. Guess I need to face it instead of attempting to disown it.
