The flock of eagles visited me again while I was napping this afternoon, I was at a picnic with my family. Seven of the eagles split off of the group and came and soared directly above us, and I explained that I recognized them as the eaglets that had been born at the lake nearby since the adults started nesting there in 2012. I've actually never seen more than 3 (of the young ones) at once really.
This vision actually recreated itself for me in waking life, and I'm still sort of reeling.
Yesterday morning my husband and I went to the park to go for a walk. The first park we went to was overloaded with dozens of RVs so we decided to go to the nearby woods/other park that had an entrance about 4 miles away. On our way out of the first park, we saw 2 young deer that let us get VERY close to them (20ft?) and a beautiful woodpecker came into a beam of sunlight from under the canopy and did a dance showing us his feathers. We still left and as we were parking outside the trail to the far east side of the woods, I saw, at first, what jogged my dream because it looked like a huge flock of raptors. We jumped out of the car and got closer and ended up counting exactly 7 of them circling overhead. I'm still baffled a bit because they had the plumage of a young bald eagle like the ones in my dream - no other raptors around here can be solid brown underneath (except golden eagles which are much more rare), and none of them that were circling above us that came close enough to get a good look at appeared to have a white head or tail.
After a few minutes of circling above us they headed back west into the wooded areas and we lost sight of them. It was wonderful!
Isis - I had a baby dream the other night, as well. It was only a few weeks old and my husband was MIA, and I was also feeding it formula which was weird because I knew I should have been breastfeeding. Someone asked me the baby's name and I couldn't remember so I had to look for the birth certificate (also was MIA).
