Thank you for asking! I think I'm pretty much over it. My body is still reeling a bit from the hit to my immune system, but I haven't had any coffee since the day I quit. I have 1-4 cups of tea per day, as it's now the only thing I drink other than water. I haven't really thought about coffee and my energy levels are basically the same. It was a physical addiction that I had to process through the body to eliminate - I think I'm done.
My husband of course had the flipside (psychological addiction) and I think he's all good as well. The past couple days even he's spoken about how he's over it, which is a funny juxtaposition to when he was clawing his eyes out and pulling his hair in desperation. He's been drinking a pretty strong breakfast tea in the morning but he's ready to ween himself down from that (sort of tastes like brewed dirt). The other morning we got up at 6AM to go to the farmer's market and didn't even brew a pot of tea before we went - the idea of going to the farmer's market without a cup of coffee or two before was unfathomable!
So I believe the beast has been tamed!
