I think that is the very essence of STS vs STO in 6D. They're both trying to build something which the other is destroying because it does not resonate with them. When what is really needed is the duality of them both to provide experiences to the One, as such this disharmony in the seeming is the exact ever Unity we all seek. Unawareness of it all is what permits for both explored perspective to work with/against each other.
I don't actually like the terms STO/STS so much nor positive/negative. I think of it more like disonant desires incarnated by the very same One.
