I wouldn't mind winning the lottery if it were private. It would solve a lot of my financial problems. But it seems like my financial problems could be clearing up pretty soon.

If it were private, I wouldn't see the problem of people hounding you for money as much. Although, I'm sure that there's always a way for people to find out.
