whenever there are newspaper articles published in Australia on depression, or reporting of suicide (Robin Williams for example), at the end of the article is a couple of lines referencing either Beyond Blue or Lifeline (and contact numbers), just in case people start turning their minds to copycat actions, as a result of having those emotions/potentials being triggered by the actual article itself.
I think this is a healthy recognition that we can energize distortions in others, even when the intent of reporting or just talking about something is done in purely an objective and non-emotive fashion. It's the idea itself which can trigger a line of thinking in the other-self just by being exposed to it.
