A little more off-topic (I didn't want to use/spoil the #4 thread), and unfortunately available only in German:
Brilliant German political cabaret artist Hagen Rether calling for an eco-dictatorship (which would be a very different concept from the one Lighthead might have in mind). Others seem to have called for some similar concept, too: Prominent American Scientists Call For Eco-Dictatorship Under UN Rule.
Might be a subject for another (political/sociological) kind of forum, though.

It's actually not different at all. I completely believe in an Eco-dictatorship. But that's just one component for me.
