    Thanks! I was researching samadhi states and came upon this.

    I realized that the way the different states are described (savikalpa, nirvikalpa), it makes it seem as if they are clear cut or as if they are well defined. But my experience hasn't been like that. For example, one website says that there is a wide gulf between savikalpa and nirvikalpa, but when I meditate, I'm able to experience nirvikalpa right after savikalpa. That's just one example.
