I charge with zero point, or mentally resonating the crystal with my energy field. Though I don't use crystals too much, since I can pull energy from wherever and to wherever I need. Of course they do help to focus down the energy for times when that is needed.

Putting crystals into a geometric pattern like a star of david can charge them up as well.
