I'm new at this and still feeling my way around. Over the past few weeks, I've been working on including meditation in my daily routine. I've been doing something similar for years, but I just called it "unwinding after work" as I wasn't trying to achieve anything and was just enjoying silence, so to speak. I'd usually be on the couch with the TV off and maybe a cat on my lap and would close my eyes for a few minutes, relax, and appreciate life.
Lately, I've felt there's more to do and have been opening my mind to new things and part of those include the shift to 4th density and the need to raise our consciousness, strive for "higher vibrations", etc. This is mainly why I inquire about Chakras as I think part of the answer lies there.
Basically, I'm trying to figure out if there's something I could do or should do to help increase the light, or is just being nice to everybody good enough?
I wouldn't call it meditation per se, but every day after work or before bed, I review the day in my mind. At first, I didn't really do anything about it except use the time to ponder what I would do if the same thing happened again.
Now, after accepting that a metaphysical world exists outside this physical world, and coming to the realization that my thoughts are not necessarily private and that other entities can feel and maybe read them, I'm striving to be better and show it through my actions. I know that can't hurt, but is that really helping bring more light? ok, maybe i'm over thinking things again...
BTW thank you so much for your insightful responses!
