The most common thing in my diet are raw, unseasoned almonds. Virtually every morning my breakfast consists of a measured portion of almonds, an apple, a banana, and a small handful of dried apricots. I will also snack on them occasionally if I need something very quick / healthy. I buy almonds by the pound since it cuts out the cost of the packaging and advertising. It's a bit pricey ($6-8 / a pound, US), but I think it's well worth it. I wouldn't mind having a variety of different nuts to buy in bulk, but the other varieties are either much more expensive ($10+ / pound) or have seasoning.
I'm not on a plant based diet (although I have reduced my meat consumption), but thought I would share because it works for me.
PS: A tip for eating raw almonds: if you eat them with some other type of fruit, its much more delicious than eating either alone. If you take a bite of a banana and eat an almond at the same time, it tastes like banana-nut bread (but much healthier). Dried apricots and almonds also go extremely well together. If you like sour apples, the bland-ish taste of the almond will take some of the rough edges off the tartness of the apple.
