This reminds me of an old video game I used to play, Ultima Online, it was made to allow anyone on the planet with internet connection to play together. It had translators already integrated which is a huuuge step forward into the future back in '98. Rather than allowing online games like that to continue to thrive and allow many cultures to speak to each other now most games are localized. Why would I want to play with kids around the corner, on the same state, or even same country? What catalyst for learning is there to be taught that way?
Censoring and boxing people into zones is just another way to control the thoughts of many, because if everyone realized there are no borders, nationalism is a useless idea, trade should be free without intervention of 3rd parties that just want to fill their pockets... then those in control would no longer be needed.
