I had an interaction with a seeker who grew up in China during a more strict ban on religious freedom. She grew up with the longing that many seekers feel, but completely unable to satisfy that longing with any sort of spiritual information. Spiritual beliefs were mandated by the state and I felt such an intense loneliness conveyed as she described the experience. She managed to find the Law of One after relocating to the US and her inner longing found its direction, and I'm sure that her experiences were likely planned as catalyst. But hearing her story definitely made me feel extremely grateful for something I have always taken for granted. The fact that we have the ability to seek out and absorb information at-will is such a blessing, these days more than ever thanks to the internet.
I am also grateful for a comfortable bed to sleep in at night, and a relatively peaceful home to enjoy in comfort.
I am grateful for access to clean water and healthy food.
I am grateful for the intense honor of having a job which lies so close to my heart's longing.
I am grateful for all of the humor in my life, which helps to keep things light and makes the blessings easier to recognize.
I am grateful for the simple opportunity to stop and think about gratitude and for the ability to express it!
