I just had a dream about an Hour ago, and thought I'd share, as it seems to have some mythic/universal qualities.
I also have to stress that it has some very difficult and sensitive themes around the nature of Death (and thus life), and so if you aren't in a place where that sort of emotional catalyst is welsome, or you are fairly sensitive to such topics in general, I ask that you not read any further in this Post. I thank you in Advance.
The Dream of the Shaman
Two individuals were walking a Path. It was the only way to get from one point to another. They were walking together.
One individual was taller, and dressed in a colorful fashion. This person looked in their 50's, and had the lines on his face that showed a life that had faced many obstacles. He was tanned, and looked lean. He walked with a strong presence, and had Faith.
The person beside him was a woman, maybe 25-28 years of age. She looked extremely healthy, and extremely comfortable with the physical nature of things. She looked out on the world with a clear gaze.
They walked this path together, side-by-side.
The first Stop that they made was by a shallow pool of water. A Horse was lying flat down on it's side. The woman saw the horse's head, that was submerged on it's side. The Horse was dead.
It looked like it had died just moments before. She also got the uneasy, unsettling feeling that it had either drowned itself (suicide), or that she herself had held the horse's head in the water until it had drowned, and then life passed from it's body. Both explanations made little sense; as it is very hard to drown yourself that way, and she would not have been able to hold a horse down like that. Also - she didn't think that animals suicided themselves like that.
She also recognised that is was her Horse.
The shaman said nothing, and they both moved on.
They soon arrived at another Pool. This one had a Cat. It was in this same Situation as the Horse. Lying flat-down, sideways, also dead in the shallow pool of Water. Either suicide, or someone had drowned it. She got the more uneasy feeling again, and this time it was Stronger.
It was her pet Cat.
Again, the Shaman said nothing, and they both moved on.
Up ahead, she could see that a Third Pool of water was up ahead. As they moved closer, she could see that something was floating in it, not moving. It looked larger than a cat. As they got closer, she started shaking and quivering all over, and then uncontrollably. She started being overwhelmed with grief, and was clutching at her head in total and utter despair. She didn't want to know, because she already knew. She covered the side of her face, and just ran and ran, straight past the Pool, without a glance. She kept running till she got to the end of the path, utterly distraught, and uncontrollable.
It was her baby infant Boy.
And at the end of the Path, she could acknowledge that she had done all this. She didn't know how or why, but she just knew.
The Shaman then approached her, with something held in his strong firm hands. It was like something wrapped in hessian, a very earthy, brown colored fabric. He walked up close to her, and held it out, then unfurled it a little.
It was her baby infant Boy. But smiling and moving. Looking up to her eyes, smiling eyes. His little arms scrunched and moved above, happy.
The Woman could only turn to the Shaman, and ask one thing: "Are you who I think you are?".
And then he left, his task accomplished, the path fulfilled, that which is intended to be reunited, reunited.

and that was the Dream. It was extremely mythic, and almost like a Parable. I am like 97.77% convinced that it was in response to a Meditation we did on Forgiveness just hours earlier. I thank the individuals involved in that meditation for their presence, as we helped call on things beyond any one individual. I truly felt my heart chakra and heart energies swirl and expand till they encompassed my whole being. I held that State for about 2 minutes, and the rest of the Meditation was not so intense. But it wasn't something that would have happened without the positive group Work. I thank you.
