Cool story, fryburner. Fellow plant-lover, farm hand, and hillbilly here
I see you cited David Wilcock and the "Russian research" -- but please, if you haven't already, look up the book The Secret Life of Plants! This book covers the research DW did, but so much more, illustrating the connection between human and plant consciousness.
In short, it's less about humans and plants being connected per se, and more about the consciousness of all things being connected. But plants are an excellent way for us to see this phenomenon, explore it, and come to know it personally -- as you no doubt have with your bamboo plant.
(People might notice the fact that I'm always recommending that book on these boards. It really is 'in tune' with the Law of One. So the rest of you should look it up too.)
BTW, if you'd allow me to make an observation about this heart-shaped bamboo plant...: Obviously, that is not the natural physical manifestation of the plant. As it grew in a crowded greenhouse somewhere, it was guided, manipulated, maybe even forced, to achieve that form. I think the current configuration of your bamboo plant -- i.e. carefully tending to it and patiently letting it grow naturally -- reflects both the plant's desire at a second life, and your growth as a person.
(Just don't plant that thing in the ground, ha ha, as you're probably aware that bamboo is extremely invasive and will in time take over your yard and very possibly wreck the foundation of your house. I guess that'd be going the other direction with the bamboo/love metaphor, eh?...)
