I have an exercise for you that you may find of some use. Try to make use of your own catalyst in the aforementioned ways. That is, based in interpretation, look at an impression in your life and try to interpret it both positive and negatively. That means that you contextualize it according to unity and then according to separation. Which one seems more appealing? Which one do you feel more compelled? Which one feels more 'realistic' or logical? Observe the interaction between the rational and irrational parts of the mind, for in truth they are the things in conflict and what create the dissonance. The intellect and the emotions, the heart and the mind, must be harmonized and peace made for the conflict to end.
