I'm taking ibuprofen daily in order to relieve from all the pain and headache. It helps me sleep calmly. I think I'm addicted to it. I don't get sleep when I'm not taking ibuprofen. What am I supposed to do? One of my friends suggested undergoing addiction counseling from a clinic in Vancouver. Will this be of any help? Is there a way to stop my addiction? Any tips are highly appreciated. Thanks!!

I personally found ibuprofen to hard to stop using, maybe ten or so years ago.

I was taking it because it really helped me my mood as well as help me deal with lack of sleep. It decreased my anxiety. It smoothed out my emotions. It calmed me down. It also did all the usual things, such as taking away pain. I was taking it daily at one point for like 60 days straight. I decided to stop and never looked back.

If you can find a specialist who takes your addiction seriously, I think it's worth it to try to get counseling.
