I would actually think the opposite. The information presented seems pretty sugar-coated to me, with about as little fear in the presentation as possible.
The challenge for the reader is to assimilate the information without going into fear, and in fact, learning to see the "love" in the information. I think many folks have a personal belief and vision that the world is a place with unicorns and rainbows, and they go into a state of fear when that vision is shattered.
