It took me a while to realize that y'all are actually serious about this video. (Isn't it a bit odd that a seemingly Russian military chopper wouldn't have Cyrillic text on its infrared targeting system's display -- and how its heavily-armed crew would let a beleaguered friendly be wasted whilst not firing a shot [using said fancy FLIR guns-control system -- that's what it's for] at the Bad Guys... details, details!) Well, don't sound the General Alarm just yet -- perhaps you're unaware of the fact that what you have here is merely a prankishly re-purposed bit of a promotional trailer that originally supported the release of the Ukranian-made S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat electronic game (the third in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. horror-shoot-'em-up franchise, which features radioactivated mutant humanoid ghouls murderously running around the deserted Chernobyl site, eatin' ur tasty human brains 'n' rippin' u limb-from-limb 'n' stuff).

(Note that in this early version it's the Dread Undead that are being naughty, not Rapacious Reptilians. Incidentally, I'm thinking of creating a mod for this game in which Britney Spears, Katie Perry, Miley Cyrus, and other alleged celebrity-sex-kitten Monarch-program alumnae* have their final dissociative mega-schizoid splits and proceed to hunt down their gullible adoring fans, maniacally intent on sucking the last wisps of soulstuff from their mortal frames via various innocent orifices. Fun for the whole family!)

Context makes all the difference when someone's presenting disinformation. Believable context is more specific to the time and place than most of those living in that particular time-and-place realize (sort of along the lines of the proverbial fish who can't recognize water as a specific thing, because it's so omnipresent, and they're so seamlessly embedded in it, that it doesn't seem to be there at all...). Today, we tech-sophisticate near-cyborgs-from-the-cradle-on-up can't be fooled by the modern equivalent of Victorian-era dumb-ass double-exposures and silk-chiffon-on-a-wire purporting to be spirit-protoplasm! Ha ha! We're made of finer stuff than that. We don't ignorantly assume that whatever we see artfully arranged in a virtual frame must really be there to be seen, no sirree!



And furthermore, we certainly wouldn't be fooled by a fake of a fake!:

The Bad Guys are fully allowed under ROE -- "rules of engagement", in milspeak [i.e., "militarily self-important techy-sounding lingo" in milspeak] -- to engage in pysops/disinformation à la Project Bluebeam and so on, to their shriveled little hearts' content, because ideologically ripping your fear-paralyzed little mind limb-from-limb (so to speak; limbic-from-limbic, maybe, would be better?) is A-OK, par for the course, all's fair in love and war; physically doing so, not so much. And anyway that kind of rough stuff would stupidly blow their advantage, which is the now-the-absence / now-the-presence (as suits circumstance), of suspension-of-disbelief &/or suspension-of-disbelief (it gets complicated, like a metafictional novel in which you -- the supposedly completely external reader -- may or may not be one of the characters!) on the part of everybody in general who's sitting on the fence trying to blend into the woodwork of some feckless half-assed supposed "neutrality". In this scenario nothing must be definite, pin-downable -- that would go against the Law of Confusion; if a physical ravening lion started pouncing on folks on the Upper West Side, you can bet your ass that lion would be shot full of holes toute suite in a garish show of NYPD overkill. The idea of such a lion (or rather its psychologically viral meme, a weaponized belief) hunts on and on down the mean streets of the underinformed human psyche, doing all kinds of psychic damage, and nobody wants to appear foolish by taking a stand once and for all agin' it (as in the ancient fable of The Emperor's New Clothes).
