Negative.  That's probably not the answer you wanted, but that's how this works.  Strictly speaking, the mere act of refusing that which is being offered is ever-so-slightly negative.

Even if you're positive, you should overcome negative attacks with your own force; anything else is suicidal. Going on a militant anti-negative crusade is where you begin to run the risk of flipping polarities, but self-defense is a good thing regardless.
