Consensus seems to be it taking a few/several hundred years.
Ra’s expected range was upto 700 so there is a lot of flexibility there.
A quick one would require some traumatic circumstances that harvested all 3D life so 4th could start without the ability to be hidden from 3D eyes.
A slower one where people are harvested at their natural death and given time to polarize may actually be the kinder less traumatic option.
