Visualize the institutions that have guided and manipulated us for so long suddenly being controlled by the good guys. White Hats.
Perhaps even The Confederation itself.
You think they wouldn't have programs developed and ready to enact for just such an occasion?
Have they done this kind of thing before? Rehabilitated worlds that have broken away from STS influences?
Is The Confederation not a sort of idealized and perfected macrocosm of our U.N.?
Think what it could be like if our education systems were suddenly teaching the highest and best.
