I'm following the Christian way although I hold other paths in great respect. That means for me seeking communion with the One Creator by active fulfillment of God's will, with the help of His grace, for the greater glory of God. My innitiation was when I consciously and willingly entered into this "life in Spirit" (in our church there are rites of passage: "baptism" and "confirmation"). That's my frame of reference and thus my basic disposition in practice is oriented toward synergy, dialogue and communion. Ra's advice "Always begin and end in the Creator, not in technique" resonates with me.
When possible I approach the Creator and nourish spiritual life with the help of sacraments, rituals, gestures, music, words, texts, symbols, names, guides, meditation method ... from the rich church tradition and my personal expressions from the heart. From this resource I get elements for composing the morning ritual for example.
"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed." (Mr 1, 35)
