No, you didn't fail at reading comprehension! After replying to this thread I went back and edited the OP to request no more than five quotes. Sorry for the confusion. : )
There should be a separate thread for favorite quotes where people can post more than five. I have reams of quotes from my earlier years spent reading and reading and reading. You know me so I'm sure you could have guessed that all those quotes are topically organized. : ) I dip into them now and then for social media sharing.
