I channel divine love/light through my crown and out my hands. So I pretty much just allow it with my whole field and not focus on one chakra.
I just make sure my root is grounded so I can channel a greater energy. I don't use my own energy for healing.
That can wear one out. It's best to use the infinite energy of Source or Earth or whatever outside of you.

I'm working now on feeling the love of the Universe. That's heart energy, but it involves my whole field too.
