The Event sounds like more "hope porn" Kinda like the whole Trump messianic phenomenon. Like when we were told that October 3rd would be a day where he announced mass arrests of power elites and then it turned out to just be another weekday.

The first time i read that 'mass arrests' stuff in a conspiracy-type website was in winter 1997.

It has been 21 years, and it has to happen yet...

They are just selling that kind of stuff to people who need to hear that kind of stuff.

In reality, such a 'mass arrest' kind of scenario is unlikely as the likelihood of enough people of positive polarity being present in higher echelons of the establishment. The system is designed to eliminate positive tendencies and behavior, and one does not get to the point of being a section director at FBI or a fresh general in the army or any noticeable place in state department by being a good person.

As can be seen from what was done to the likes of Bernie Sanders, the system is designed to prevent any such 'mishap'. Once in a while, after great crises, due to immense awareness and need on the part of the people, like in 1930s, some odd positive may get to a position of power, like FDR, but as seen from history, not only the establishment will fight him/her with all its power, but there will not be enough people in positions of power for that person to make sweeping changes - leave side things like 'mass arrests' - as in the case of FDR. Even for his repeated election-winning, the establishment immediately developed a counter-measure in the way of term limits for presidency, so that no leader could get repeatedly elected by getting the support of people.

Therefore it is in vain to wait for any such 'mass arrests' or waste your hope in believing and buying the stories which the sources who peddle that kind of stuff sells.

Change will come by you taking action. Not by someone just making it happen and then dropping it on your lap.
