Intuition tells me that the present owners are those already in the seat of power. The gold has been "transfered" to them either through direct conquest or in default of debt.

Could I be wrong? Sure could.

A very complicated subject. Gold is watched very closely by certain powers in the world who are above the banking system.

Those powers are in the process of removing the Orion Group from power on Earth, which is a long term process.
