Major life catalysts

1) before the age of 12: regular spanking at home, cold relationship with mother, regular bullying at school
2) @ 13-16 regular conflicts with parents, jealousy because of the 8 years younger sister
2) @18 first abortion
3) @22 first marriage
4) @23 first child (extremely hard delivery and the first months)
5) @ 24 the child got really sick and was admitted to a hospital without letting me stay with him or even visit for the whole time he was there. got him back in 2 weeks much sicker than he went in
6) @ 25 two abortions in 1 year (no good contraception in the SU)
7) @ 27 second child (1 month in hospital before delivery without husband and first child allowed to visit, SU, remember?)
8) @ 28 husband mobilized by the KGB and sent away for 6 months (I was working full time, taking the kids to daycare and back etc. via public transportation, the youngest child was really delicate)
9) @ ca. 30 my country re-gains independence from the SU, the whole soviet system brakes down
10) @ 34 first divorce
11) @ 39 second marriage to a man 10 years my junior with 3 sons
12) @ 40 third child, 7 days later - first near death experience, 4 months later - the baby really sick, we get into hospital together with 2 more kids, I get sick (a nasty virus), tuberculosis suspected in my husband, he gets admitted to a special hospital in another county for a month after we return home
13) @ 41 the two oldest children of my second husband get taken back by their mother
14) @ 42 the oldest child leaves home suddenly and moves 200 kms away
15) @ 43 second husband turns out to be a psychopath, leaves for the first time trying to convince me that I never was his REAL wife etc., near death experiences almost every day for months, loss of a baby in a miscarriage
16) @ 45 move to a house in the woods together with the second husband and the 2 youngest kids, the house burns down 4 months after the move together with everything in it including 3 pets
17) @ 49 move to an apartment near the kid's school in a village, final separation and divorce from second husband (adopted his youngest son who stays a huge catalyst for me until he becomes a teenager, in addition he comes from a family with lots of cancer deaths before the age of 30, so, that part is still there)
18) @ 49/50 wold economic crisis strikes hard: no work, no income, no support from the ex, no support from the state
19) @ 50 boyfriend who moved in a couple of months ago turns out to be very immature as soon as the being in love phase is over
20) @ 49-56 the youngest child (daughter) suffers a lot (anxiety, OCD, bullying at school) until she switches schools in the middle of the final year, we all hastily move back to my hometown (my first move without other adults involved), the last and darkest period of depression after the move, a couple of near death experiences, daughter starts a new school, drops out after a couple of months, is a terrible teenager
21) @ 57 daughter moves 200 kms away to attend a school, get's in lots of trouble, asks me for help over the phone etc., quits the school after a couple of months (thank goodness, returns practically an adult)
22) @ 60 daughter moves out and almost takes the family dog with her for good (thank goodness, comes to her senses)
